Growing up

I realized how fast time is going with Elizabeth when we went to a program for her Parent's Day Out last night. Elizabeth and her class sang the Itsy Bitsy Spider and they were all so cute. Of course, my eyes were focused on Elizabeth the majority of the time just as her eyes were focused on me and her daddy who videoed the whole thing. Peyton sat quietly in his car seat in the pew. Elizabeth didn't even ask where he was. I guess she was just excited to have all of our attention again (or at least mine--her daddy has been doting on her since Peyton has been born).

Peyton is six weeks old now, and weighs over 11 pounds. He isn't that big in size, but he is just really, really long. 22 inches at birth and still growing. He's been really, really colicky lately, and I feel so bad because his tummy hurts him so much. Poor thing. Elizabeth has just started shouting over him, and it doesn't seem to bother her a bit how much he cries. To her, it's just his way of talking. She really does love her brother! Last night after her program she came up to me and asked if she could hold Peyton and walk around with him. :)
